The Red Pill and The Blue Pill Volume 2: Funky DL’s Mini album released in 2003/ 2004 through Washington Classics. The Red Pill and The Blue Pill volumes 1 and 2 were interesting diversions from DL’s usual releases as these albums comprised of a total of 8 tracks on each mini-album themed around the blockbuster movie “The Matrix”. 4 tracks were based around the red pill and it’s representation of the truth (in which DL addressed the realities of his world) and the other 4 tracks were based on the concept of the blue pill and it’s denial of reality and therefore were songs about fun and happy go lucky ideals.
