Since 77: (aka Seven, Seven) Funky DL’s eighth album released in 2005 through Washington Classics. Since 77 was all about roots and going back to where things started. The album cover is a shot taken from Nightingale Estate in Clapton East London where DL lived and spent most of his childhood. His experiences there are mostly reflected in track “Where I’m Coming From”. Since 77 again contained a slightly darker sound than usual but its highlights come in the insanely humorous “Not The 1 4 Me” and the jazz laden “You Really Love That”
